Paste โ Clean โ Copy/Download โ Clear โ next song. Functional storage can remember the last input/output so you do not lose work on reload.
Save your preferred checkboxes and limits (Functional storage). Process every song with the same mode so your Suno/Udio library stays stylistically uniform.
Everything stays on your device. Clear site data in the browser anytime to wipe localStorage keys that start with suno-.
Before touching song one, decide your standard and write it down:
[Verse] always, hints on first section onlyApply the identical checkbox setup to every song. Consistency beats perfection โ when every file follows the same rules, you stop second-guessing.
song-title_raw.txt โ never overwrite your source.song-title_suno.txt or song-title_udio.txt โ the suffix tells you which target it was trimmed for. Before calling a batch done, spot-check every file:
[Verse] style, each on its own lineWhen you're processing ten songs, it's easy to skip a step on song seven. A written checklist keeps every song at the same quality bar. Tape this to your monitor:
[Verse]-style tag. No orphans โ every lyric line should sit under a tag. After three or four songs the checklist becomes muscle memory โ but keep using it. That's when the skipped steps creep back.
A catalog isn't just many songs โ it's songs that should feel related. Process in this order:
[Pre-Chorus], song five shouldn't use [Prechorus]. Pick the set once (see the tag guide) and reuse it everywhere.Cleaning is destructive by design โ chords and markers get removed. Never clean your only copy:
lyrics-raw/), untouched.song-title-clean.txt in a lyrics-ready/ folder.song-title-udio.txt for the 350-char version. The full and cut versions diverge โ don't regenerate the cut from memory. This costs nothing (text files are tiny) and saves you the one time a platform update changes what works and you need to re-clean from scratch.
LyricPrep cleans one text at a time in the browser. For batches, work song by song with a fixed preset โ the workflow above keeps it fast, typically under a minute per song.
Your checkbox choices persist in the browser via localStorage, so your preset survives refreshes. Just don't change the options mid-batch.
The same rules still apply โ clean tags and no chords work for any structure. Only the trimming target changes (full song vs 350-char Udio cut).
The mechanical part is fast โ a few minutes per song once you're in a rhythm. The slow part is the read-aloud pass and any Udio rewrites. Budget roughly 10โ15 minutes per song for a careful job, less for straightforward chord-sheet pastes.
Clean the singles and strongest songs first โ they set your tag vocabulary and quality bar. Then work through the rest. Album order matters for listening, not for cleaning.
Edit the raw original, then re-clean โ don't patch the cleaned file by hand. Hand patches drift from your checklist and reintroduce the exact inconsistencies cleaning removed.
